Garlic and Pepper is a combination bar and restaurant that serves very good Thai food. It is not fancy and it is never crowded.The Tom Yum and Tom Ka soups are great, The entrees are a mild compared to Manhattan restaurants, but they will make it spicy if you ask.The service is courteous and quick, and they never rush you. A great place for a pleasant and tasty meal.

I love the place; It's our secret 'hole-in-the-wall' hideway. The service comes always with a genuine smile and good effort. The food is as authentic as it gets. We usually ask it extra spicy, and that we get (not by Western, but Asian standards). Our favorites are larb, nam sod and chicken green curry. Kids like their glass noodles (not spicy). Singha is served cold.
